Renowned for her pen & ink depictions of local landmarks and rural scenes, Ruth Wood is one of the West of Ireland’s most loved and celebrated painters – and indeed her acrylic originals are always so wonderfully received. This beautifully detailed piece, featuring the famous West Clare landmark, The Bandstand in Kilkee, Co. Clare also has the East End Kilkee, with it’s pier, slipway and famous boathouse in the background.

Ruth spent huge amounts of time, painting the gorgeous iron railings and the Victorian roof, with meticulous detail. and the colour palette is warm and inviting. A fantastically collectable original work.
