The incredibly rich colour Autumnal colour palette makes such an impact. Very striking piece of work.

The layers and layers of oils, and Eldred’s masterly application, brings light and perspective to the work. The reflections on the water on the ground, the trees off in the heart of the forest, that you can make out in the distance, and the yellows and burnt oranges of Autumn leaves, as they start to form a carpet on the forest floor, all make this painting the stunning piece that it is.
