A very special piece of bog oak, thousands of years old, expertly carved, beautifully handled and treated at the hands of contemporary artist, Shane Gilmore. Seasoned for many years in his own home, Shane has worked with the shape and grain of the piece to produce this gorgeous boat sculpture. Modelled on the shape of a traditional Irish currach, ‘An bád dubh’, is sitting on a beautifully made, cherry wood base and is a stand out piece of art for any modern home.
