With a deliberate hand, but a stunningly, delicate touch, this extraordinarily competent and self-assured artist, Maahs, has produced a stunning collection of works for the gallery.  The complexity of a million pieces of twigs and straw, carefully weaved together, this wren’s nest is so beautifully depicted here in oils, that you immediately get a sense of the warm, safe space it is providing for its young.

Kaye has won awards and bursaries and exhibited both nationally and internationally. She continues to be chosen to partake in the RHA’s annual exhibition, where this year she won the Alex Bradly Award. Also, this year, she was selected to exhibit in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in London, and has work hanging in private collections around the world.
