Aled is based in Galway, in the West of Ireland. Originally from Wales, Ireland has been his home for the last seventeen years. With a background in music photography for Hot Press, Aled has now returned to his first love, which is capturing landscapes. Aled only captures images between the months of October and March. Each shot has been carefully planned and considered to coincide with the optimal light and conditions. Some of his images can be years in the execution and it is this attention to detail and dedication that leads to such outstanding images.
