The colours here are spectacular and uplifting. Painted using acrylics, this depiction of the sun setting beyond beautiful Kilkee Beach, warms your heart. A piece of this size and shape would be wonderful for behind a sofa, or above a console table perhaps, but no doubt will fill any space with an injection of colour and warmth.

Claire McMahon is a superb artist, who, herself, is part of the fabric of the beautiful West Clare seaside town of Kilkee, and understands more than anyone, how moments in time, captured forever in oils, can be incredibly meaningful and important.

Inspired by her surroundings, Claire is a painter, a sculptor and indeed loves to experiment with mixed media. She has exhibited in both Ireland and the UK and indeed has work hanging in private collections internationally.
