Autumn Cottage

Autumnal hues and a perceived cosiness, draw you to this cottage,  tucked neatly into the landscape, with its single chimney and red tin roof. Overlooking the sea, with mountain views in the distance, one imagines a large open fire, turf in the basket and a kettle humming on the range. McCaul truly manages to achieve that sense of space, beauty and nostalgia in all of his oil paintings. He has certainly succeeded here.
