Oranges – This is a strikingly lovely still life for a couple of reasons. Notwithstanding the fact that it’s quite beautifully painted and that the oranges create a lovely contrast against the black background but also because the artist here has cleverly used gesso primer to create a  lovely cracked texture underneath the oils – creating an aged, almost renaissance style feel. A gorgeous little original to snap up by this very talented artist.

Having previously been chosen to exhibit in the RHA and in many private galleries around Ireland, Oonagh’s work is so enticing!
