The immensely vivid, colourful and fun approach, on one hand, is wonderfully contemporary while at the same time, is a clear nod towards the styles of the old masters. The Blue Vase and Blue flowers, of course, on closer inspection, have many layers, variations and shades at work.  Danny’s supreme knowledge of colour, placing the subject against this bright yellow backdrop, is simply amazing on any wall.
