Ivan Daly

Having attended the Limerick School of Art & Design before embarking on a rather full career of solo shows and many group shows around the country and in the UK, celebrated artist Ivan Daly has work hanging in many prestigious private collections.

Living in New Market on Fergus, in Co Clare, with his partner Bronagh, an interior stylist, Ivan has much opportunity to traverse the rugged West Coast and be inspired to paint.

The artist says:

‘My work of the last few years has been of a personal exploration of the Clare coastline. The paintings are very much rooted towards using strong compositional arrangements while trying to achieve the physicality and energy of the scene through working with the paint.’
