A beautifully carved, shaped, and polished limestone currach. The limestone is black with visible embedded fossils and is the rather impressive age, of approximately 4.5 million years old. However, even exceptionally older than that, is the striking Connemara Marble base, on which it sits, which itself is an extraordinary and rather mind blowing, 900 million years old!!

This is a stunning piece of art and is tangibly, physically and intrinsically Irish in every possible way.

This is an exquisite and stand out piece of sculpture – a heavy piece – at approximately 20Kg before any packing or crating.
