Bridges of Ross

A colourful acrylic on canvas by artist Ruth Wood, this is a gorgeous depiction of the famous Bridges of Ross (of which only one bridge now remains). This geological phenomenon in Co. Clare, has peaked the interest of thousands of people over the years. Ruth’s artistic impression of a summer afternoon on the bridge walk is really perfect, with the sunlight highlighting the grasses and wild flowers of the foreground and the water calm and blue as it weaves in and out with the tide.
