Such a strikingly beautiful sunset and gorgeously dramatic rolling tide by the contemporary artist, Vincent Killowry.  He manages to perfectly capture in acrylics, the drama and movement of the rolling wave, and his handling of colour brings every kind of ‘golden hour’ hue to this magnificent sunset.

Killowry, artist, art teacher, and an illustrator, is particularly famous for being the artist responsible for painting many of the national heritage stamps with An Post. He is also responsible for the simply extraordinary, murals, at the Foynes Flying Boat and Martime Museum. Killowry is a super collectable artist and has work hanging in many private collections across Ireland and abroad.
