Sculptor of note, Siobhan Bulfin, has produced this gorgeous ‘artist’s take’ on the age old ‘David and the Goliath’ fable, by sculpting and subsequently casting in bronze, this beautiful horse, standing tall and strong, facing down an adorable wee donkey. In this version, however, these two are actually best friends – and keep each other company in their paddock.

Siobhan herself is an extraordinary sculptor, responsible for some of the most beautiful and probably the most notably important life-size and larger than life-size horse sculptures in Ireland and abroad, over the years. Her work has also, often been used as prize winning pieces for large international and national derbies and important horse racing events – such as Cheltenham and the Grand National.
