Farewell Summer

Lithuanian born sculptor, Arturas, has produced this intricate and detailed piece of sculpture. As summer ebbs slowly away, this beautiful little fellow tucks his neck into his tummy feathers and snuggles up to keep warm. Surrounded by bronze branches and sitting on a marble base.

Arturas sculpts, casts and patinates his own work in his studio in Galway and has an international following.  This piece is great fun and very collectable piece. The level of detail and small parts would have made it a difficult task to cast and patinate as beautifully as he has done.
