Part of our new range of Gallery Posters, this is a striking behind the scenes image from our artist workshops in Kilbaha. This image is of the larger than life size, plaster cast of the National Monument to Eamon de Valera, originally sculpted by Jim Connolly; the bronze statue of which, was unveiled outside the courthouse in Ennis, Co. Clare, in 1981.  This plaster cast, now some 43 years old, is a beautiful, if somewhat aged, nod to our country’s art history.
