Kilrush Descent

The colourful descent into the back roads of Kilrush townlands, in West Clare, beautifully painted by David Coyne. David’s unmistakable use of palette knife oil painting is bold and brave. His subject matters are also brave and different; they stand out as not being the usual suspects, in terms of the angles, the vistas and the landmarks. He likes seeing the different vantage point, the angle lesser viewed from; certainly not your typical chocolate box style of composition and even more strikingly interesting because of it.
