Kaye Maahs is such an exciting artist. Having been an invited artist at the RHA, exhibited in such prestigious locations as the Royal Academy and the Hunt Museum, the recipient of numbers residencies and bursaries and selling art both domestically and internationally, this artist is fast ascending that ladder of collectability. This miniature oil painting ‘Moneypoint’  is a superb little depiction of the chimneys at Moneypoint, Kilimer, in West Clare.  A moody and rather gorgeous depiction with the chimney’s and power-station buildings, adding that enticing industrial touch to the painting.

And the price point is rather special.

There are two identically sized paintings in this series. The second in the series depicts ‘Flags on a Cold Day’ – another West Clare setting (Loop Head) – these original miniatures would make an incredible pair and a great buy in terms of a very collectable artist.
