Living and running a Gallery on a peninsula such as we are, the term ‘On the Edge’ certainly rings very true. The rugged West Clare coastline is a constant in our lives, the sea our familiar friend, and overlooking the Atlantic everyday, being exposed to its ever changing tides and moods, makes for a varied way of life.  McCauls depiction of a cottage on the edge, is a peaceful and calm view that draws you right into the painting.
