This small but beautiful painting truly sums up growing up beside the ocean. Winter evening walks along the beach, wrapped up cosy and warm, with the sea breeze in your face, the taste of sea salt on your lips and the sometimes almost deafening rumble that comes from a rolling tide as the waves coming in, meet, with some force, those that are on their way out and roll back loudly over the stones.
