The swathes of seaweed that gather on our seashores have a somewhat unconventional beauty. Not always recognised for its vital importance in the marine eco-system, seaweed is actually a really positive marker. The artist known only as ‘D’, here produces another gorgeous miniature oil on canvas, depicting so wonderfully, a magic moment captured along one of the many rocky shore inlets along our coastline – where an incoming tide makes its way back to reclaim what the previous tide had deposited.
